its been forever since i've updated. just wanted to let you all know that i opened a facebook account today. which will reosrt me to probably stop using lj for good, since my most of my best friends and future classmates aren't lj users and no one here ever comments. don't fret, tho. i have a myspace too and so do most of you, so i will be updating both of them regularly. so if you have a mypsace and havent friended me yet, my headline name is "your worst nightmare", and in my picture im holding a half-filled frappuccino bottle and smiling. or u can always go into someone's profile, find me, and friend me. doesnt matter.

hey everyone,
im just here bored waiting for 6pm to strike(and avoiding cleaning the house)so i decided to update my journal, which as some of u can see, i do once a month as i have no interesting news and no one comments. first and foremost, birthdays!

On a current note, I have a boyfriend now. His name is Johnny. He's 19 and in the army. I met him about 2 years ago thru my older half-brother, who dated his sister. He joined the army about a year ago and he's in infantry. He came home on leave on July 1st and he's on a plane back to Texas, where his base is. he's going to iraq in november for 16 months. i'm scared for him. im hoping and praying that he comes home alive and well. hopefully, he can get a 4-day leave on october, so i can see him one last time and celebrate my birthday with him. he and i are so much alike its scary, except he's tall, white, male, and catholic. we both went to catholic schools, grew up in ghetto environments without being ghetto, were both naturally shy, we both have goofy laughs... the list could go on. The situation's a little difficult because he's so far away from me and he's not a disciple. ive talked about my faith with him and it was one of the key things that won him over, actually. we'll see how it goes. were hoping it works out. its my 1st relationship, so i dunno what to expect....
umm... thats about all i have to say for now. work is not much of a story, but this is a glimpse of whats been going on with me. |

Hey all,
just wanted to let you all know that i haven't disappeared off the face of the earth (say it with me now, "oh man" hehe). after graduation, i haven't done much, just searching for jobs at canobie lake, starbucks, or anywhere that would hire me. in case any of you are wondering, im not having a graduation party, but i DID go down to DisneyWorld with the family (much sweeter than a grad party in my boring house, if you ask me), which explains why i wasn't around last weekend. Okay, so we didn't go to the actual Disney World, but we did drive by it on the way to the Orlando airport. We actually went to Sea World, Universal Studios, and Islands of Adventure.
Before i go on any further, I will be using lj-cuts to explain the details before you decide to stop reading...

Islands was insane. The first thing i did was ride the Hulk Rollercoaster. I loved it. Next thing, I rode the tea cups, so as you can imagine, i was so dizzy i nearly puked by the end of the cups, but i didnt. then, i rode the Spiderman. it was a simulation 3D ride in which we were splashed. we liked it so much, we rode it again later. we took my sister to the Dr. Seuss land, which was nice. the lines were super long, so we rode the Cat in the hat ride. it made me dizzy. thats about i remember. oh yeah, we were in the Jurassic Park land and got soaked by the water ride. At the end of every ride, there was a gift shop with interesting things.
Thanks for reading as far as you did. Since I came back, Ive been thinking a lot about my future, but ill go into detail at a later entry. and ill post pics too. |

It's been raining insanely for five days, and since Lawrence and all the towns around it are surrounded by rivers, they are flooded. Almost all of Lawrence and Methuen are underwater. Luckily, my neighborhood is okay. However, the area around my school is literally an ocean, so my last day of classes and finals were cancelled, which poses confusion, seeing as we're supposed to have our class trip next week and graduation's supposed to be the 26th in our auditorium... anyway, here are some of the pictures my mom and i took while we were cruising around the unflooded streets of Lawrence...

well...
i just realized that its been a while since i've updated my journal. i've been unbelievably busy and stressed by...life. i got into salem state college 3 weeks ago. i'm applying to fitchburg state. the FAFSA and the CSS profiles are a huge pain in the neck, and since my mom just got her taxes, she's doing them all over again. in addition to the neverending mountain of homework, i've been filling out scholarship applications. they are soooo much work. why does college have to be so damn expensive?
aside from that, i've decided to add more to the story i "finished" last year. im making it more detailed and interesting, but its gonna be twice as long. my goal is to finish the final draft before i graduate so that my school friends can get copies since the majority of the characters are based on them. if any of you who are characters in it (u know who you are!) can give me more ideas for what your characters do or wanna change anything i wrote, you're more than welcome to give suggestions cause i know some of u didnt like it, but thats ok.
i feel lost again, but im sure u all know that.

Dear Uncle Rafael,
Though you don't know English or how to read, I wrote this letter to let you know how much of a lazy-ass bum you are. My dear sweet mother is kind enough to let you rent out the second floor when she could have rented it to a stranger. You have no idea what a mistake it was! All along, I knew it was a bad idea to have you live upstairs, but I remained silent because my mom would not believe me. Once I found out what a dangerous psycho your wife is, I knew it was for sure. Not only did you bring a psycho to our house, but roaches & mice, and now thanks to you, half of the second floor needs remodeling. And who's gonna pay for it? My mom because the house is hers? Ha! You didnt pay your share of the rent last month, and refuse to pay yours now, and now that you're in thin ice with the law, you go to the police to get my mom arrested for taking away your utlities when you didn't pay them? You fuckin sucker, now you have your entire side of the family, including my dad, against my mom & her children. Thanks to you, my college savings will be wasted on the bills u didn't pay. Finally, my moms taking action. I hope you get kicked out, even if it means roaming in the streets. Your son can be under custody of DSS, and you and your wife deported. You have no idea how much you've hurt me, Rafael. I hope justice is done, cause its not fair that my mom, a single other of 3 who worked her ass off, has to cover for a lazy bum like you, and I cant go to college cuz you stripped us off our money. 1.NEVER get married. If my mom hadn't married my dad, had me & my siblings, she wouldve not had met the group of backstabbers i call dad's side of the family.

It was a dark & rainy day. it started out with SATs (which i did worse in this time, by the way), then i went home and started using my ipod, then we had cake. The next day, my moms boyfriend took us to Yokohama Steak House and had dinner. I turned 18.
31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? If I had actually gone after what I wanted instead of standing back & keeping shut
32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005? It changed quite a bit. I went from punky-goth wannabe to nerdy & somewhat trendy.

first of all, IM baaaack! anyone miss me?
if u didn't, thats ok. blame my computer. AOL is retarded and we're trying to get verizon DSL, so for the past few weeks, we've been having trouble trying to get online, but for some weird reason, i was trying to get back online tonite and it worked. dont ask why, it just did. so, this is the last time i'm using my AOL address cuz were most likely switching to verizon tonite. that means...yup... for the THIRD time this year, im changing my email address.
yup, thats my excuse. deal with it. for those of u who've been deleting friends cuz of lack of responses, this is my reason why.

as some of u may know (or possibly care), I'm turning 18 next saturday (im starting off the day w/SAT's. Glorious) I wanna do somethin special, but i have no funds nor place to do it in, so im thinking if its nice on sat, i may have some friends over & we can chill outside & all that jazz (need parental permission first. ill let ya know if i can actually do it).

Today, I realized that i have no idea about what i wanna do with my life after high school. i know i wanna go to college, but i dont know what the heck for. i have the grades and im well-rounded, but i have no talent for anything. PLEASE don't tell me that i have any b/c i wouldn't believe u. If u have something to comment, be honest. These are the specific reasons why i don't think i can do anything:

I wish people can just become what they want without having to think so much about it. Most of the things i wanna do depends mostly on talent. all i want is to have a job i will love and uses the degrees i'm gonna get in college. i don't wanna spend the next 4 years of my life getting a degree i wont use and waste everyone's money. i'll just tell u this: anything's better than being a bum on the street or getting a job that allows me to live in nothing more than a cardboard box. |

Well, I'm a senior (duh). Nothing much has happened, except that we have 2 new students in out senior class. One transferred over from the co-ed Catholic school near mine, whose father passed away recently (Desiree), and a girl from the new orleans area who lost everything (Nicole). the school's paying for all of Nicole's stuff, including tuition, books, and uniform. she has family up here, that's why she's here. she says she's never going back down there, and i don't blame her (what's she going home to down there, anyway? there's nothing there now)she wants to go to BU for college & study psychology. Desiree's cool, too.
As for classes, this is my schedule:
Homeroom: Mr. Klayman
- He's the coolest history teacher @ PMA, but the strictest homeroom teacher. He's getting on my nerves already, and I've only been in school for 1 1/2 weeks!
PreCalculus: Mrs. Desmond
- We're reviewing last year's stuff. Since i did so badly in math last year, i'm re-learning what i didn't learn last year.
AP French: Madame Kostousova
- I'd never thought I'd say this, but French is hard.
Psychology: Miss Shields
- Psych is so fun & easy. We take open notes quizzes. One of my homework assignments was to take a personality test. The discussions are interesting and we don't get homework.
Study: Mrs. Viscosi
- Study Hall, self-explanatory. Starting next quarter, we get senior privs, meaning I can come late when i have study 1st and go home early when i have it last.
AP Spanish: Mrs. Giannantonio
- It's so easy, since I'm a native speaker. But that was my last elective. It was either that or computers plus w/Jordan.
Theology Honors: Mrs. McMahon
- That class is soooooooo boring.
AP Literature & Composition: Mrs. Viscosi
- She's a fun teacher. The class is a lotta reading and a lotta writing. I got my summer reading test back today and got a 65. I was so happy cuz i thought i failed it miserably, seeing as i read them all in june and don't remember a thing.
PMA's changed a lot since i came in as a freshman. a lotta construction, a lotta drama, a lotta new teachers. I can't wait till graduation & college. I really can't. |
